Why we made it
Wellness technology kept arriving in white plastic, looking like something you would hide in a drawer. We wanted the opposite — an object you would happily leave beside the sofa.
Calavena began with one small frustration and one long evening. We are a small studio working between Germany and the United States, making a short line of objects for the end of the day — chosen slowly, built properly, and finished in materials we would want to touch every night.
